Where does Pouchhut ship from?

From our overseas fulfilment warehouse. We do not hold any stock in New Zealand. Every order is sent by tracked international courier to your New Zealand address, and you import it for your own personal use.

Is it legal to order nicotine pouches in NZ?

New Zealand allows adults to import tobacco-derived oral nicotine products for their own personal use, in reasonable quantities (as a guide, up to three months' supply). The pouches we list use nicotine derived from tobacco, not synthetic nicotine. Border agencies can inspect any international parcel.

By New Zealand bank transfer. After you place your order you receive an email with the account details and your order number to use as the reference. Orders are held for 7 days; once payment is confirmed we dispatch within 1 to 2 working days.

How long does delivery take?

Typically 1 to 3 working days after dispatch, tracked to your door for $7. Border inspection, public holidays and rural delivery can add time.

Will I pay customs charges or GST on arrival?

Any duties, GST or fees a border agency assesses on arrival are the customer's responsibility. Most personal-use parcels arrive without additional charges, but we cannot guarantee that.

Do I need to be 18 or older?

Yes. Nicotine pouches are strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We confirm age on the site and may ask for ID before dispatch or delivery.

What are nicotine pouches?

Small, pre-portioned pouches placed between the gum and upper lip. They contain nicotine and flavourings but no tobacco leaf, and there is nothing to light, so there is no smoke or vapour.

Is the nicotine synthetic?

No. The nicotine in the pouches we list is derived from the tobacco plant. The pouches contain no tobacco leaf.

How many pouches come in a can?

Most cans hold between 20 and 24 pouches depending on the brand. The exact count is on each product page.

Pouchhut is an online store for adults in New Zealand. We list products, take your order and arrange delivery to your New Zealand address. What makes us different from a local shop is where the goods are: every product we sell is held at, and dispatched from, our overseas fulfilment warehouse. Nothing is stocked, stored, sold over a counter or dispatched from within New Zealand.

You are the importer

When you buy from Pouchhut, the goods are shipped internationally to you, and you import them into New Zealand for your own personal use. By placing an order you confirm that:

you are 18 years of age or older;
the products are for your own personal use only, and you will not sell, supply or give them to anyone else;
the quantity you are ordering is reasonable for your own use (New Zealand authorities generally treat up to three months' supply as personal use);
you accept that international parcels may be inspected, delayed or, in rare cases, detained by the New Zealand Customs Service or another border agency, and that it is your responsibility to make sure importing the products is permitted for you.

What is in the pouches

The nicotine pouches we list contain no tobacco leaf. The nicotine in them is pharmaceutical-grade nicotine derived from the tobacco plant; we do not list pouches made with synthetic nicotine. Each product page states the nicotine strength per pouch and per gram, and the number of pouches per can.

We accept payment by New Zealand bank transfer only. Your order is held for 7 days while we wait for your transfer; unpaid orders are cancelled automatically after that. Goods are dispatched only after payment is confirmed.
